Powerful Protection

All DB-9 male serial port connections are protected against 15KV ESD and power input surge protection of 600W for each port. The RS232 serial adapter is plug and play, no external power is needed but has optional DC input or has a 3-wire plug input, there is no power adapter included with this item.
